I Can WALK ON WATER

by admin January 22, 2020
written by admin

Have you for a second thought you won’t survive any more stress or trial?

I have something to tell you.

You can walk on water!

Walking on water is doing the impossible.

In your lifetime, you’ve had your share of the different colours life has presented to you.

I need you to sit down and evaluate the events that have happened in the past.

Do you see how the past aligned with your future?

The one who sees the tomorrow has your story written.

You can feel the present but you need to trust that it’ll all make sense tomorrow..

You will walk on water.

The lessons learned make you unstoppable!!!

Psalm 139:13-16 New Living Translation (NLT)

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. 15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. 16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.

Heal your Soul

by admin January 20, 2020
written by admin

You’ve  got to heal your mind to heal your body and soul.

It was a sunday evening,  I felt extremely overwhelmed by the evening time.

I just couldn’t place my mind on one thing.

But I was feeling stressed from all the work,  I had to do over the weekend.

Running a business, working on multiple projects and household responsibilities.

I took a pause.

I realized that I had been more stressed on prior days.

I remembered the one thing that helped me pull through was the ability to take things one day at a time..

I was carrying stress, hurt and disappointment.

It was all in the mind.

I had to heal my mind to heal my soul and body.

I had to be intentional about dismissing the identified things that weighed me down.

Maybe you’ve  been wondering and feeling stressed day after day.

Feeling unhappy from disappointment and unfulfilled expectations in your life?

You will pull through.

But it can’t happen by your power and might.

So why not let go of those things that you have no control over and leave it to God.

Matthew 6:26-34 New King James Version (NKJV)

Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one [a]cubit to his [b]stature?

Unpacking My Bags

by admin January 17, 2020
written by admin

Welcome to 2020.

By now you should have unpacked your bags.

Or maybe I should ask the question;  have you unpacked your bags?

I learned a lot of lessons from last year.

There is a lot to unpack for me.

I am not done yet.

I remember the really good times.

The times I felt hurt by the people I trusted.

I packed up my bags in 2019.

I threw the hurt away and chose to buy new items added to the good…

These are the items;

  • Self love
  • Growth and strength
  • Daily Thanksgiving
  • Forgiveness
  • Vision for Growth

The above and so much more…

I believe lessons will be learned this new year and I am ready to embrace changes.

What I will do, is fight for my happiness and self growth.

I will not allow toxic people pull me down..

I will trust that God has me all the time.

I don’t have full control over the things that will happen but I will be intentional about the way I choose to live….

The End of 2019

by admin December 30, 2019
written by admin

As I hold the pieces that once tore me apart..

My soul was distressed..

My heart longed for peace…

Today, I flipped the pages of year..

Gradually unveiling the virtues of the days…

I recall the laughter and the pain…

The Joys of the miracles…

I am amazed and awe-inspired by my miracles…

That my tears will cause a miracle..

And my heart will leap for joy…

The pain of yesterday was for a while…

My prayers were indeed answered…

You might not be ready but you will be equipped just enough to make it through…

Cheers to a great new year!

Love

by admin August 11, 2019
written by admin

Loving is easy when you have no reason to hate.

What does it really mean to love?

Should people step on you, use your weak points against you, manipulate you and you still have to love?

The other day your closest friend spoke a lot of evil against you.

The very person who promised to protect you backstabbed you?

What of when you have to forgive the very person you see every day?

Yet you are instructed to love? This is not boy meets girl, girl meets boy, hormonal love at first sight.. This is love!

It is not easy to love when you are being constantly neglected and humiliated…

But what does the bible say? How can he teach us to love?

Is there some easy way to go about it?

There is a version(The MSG), that seems to explain this clearly.

The bible says in  1 Corinthians 13:4-10 The Message (MSG) 3-7;

If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”
Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.

8-10 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled.

Mission and Vision

by admin August 11, 2019
written by admin

Dictionary definition of Vision- a thought, concept, or object formed by the imagination

Vision- Your goals, what you’ll like to accomplish….

Today I ask you what’s your vision?
What are your goals?
What steps will you take to ensure they are accomplished?
Have you walked on the street of life aimlessly?
Did you have a vision that you didn’t stick to?

Mission and Vision

Remember, your vision could change but at least you’ll have some direction

Five years ago, I was on Journey with a set plan. I wrote down what I wanted and I prayed to God.

Three practical examples of My Visions 5 years ago,

-To complete my Computer Engineering masters degree
-To finally work as a software developer and an IT consultant
– To publish some books on my write-ups

Vision 1-To complete my masters degree.

The school required me to take six core courses
Do important presentations
Pass some test and exams
Complete my research
Defend my thesis I had to be on on different missions at different times in different stages.
1. To attend and pass my courses
2. To prepare for my presentations and make them
3. To get related articles required for my thesis and study hard with research
4. To come up with my idea.
5. To defend my thesis I did all that and my goals were met because I had a clear vision.
I didn’t drop out but I stuck in hard times and made it out.

You must note that I also had a mission, to help facilitate the process.

While on the journey, I went through difficult times and hurdles but I had to fight my way through things.

Vision 2- To work as a software developer and an IT Consultant

1.Apply for a job
2. Go to interviews
3. Start working

I had to prepare and be on different missions to get a job.

Before completing my masters degree, I started applying to different companies..

I had different missions
1. To prepare a clear and concise resume
2. To write a good cover letter
3. To apply for related jobs
4. To prepare for an interview
5. To get an offer letter
6. To become a developer by learning as much on the job.

When trying to become a software engineer, leaving school wasn’t enough and having a masters degree was not enough.

I was told no several times for different reasons but because I had held on to a vision, I did everything possible.
I went on different missions.
Each time I didn’t get a job, I went home with a lesson to learn.
I learnt more about the software industry.
I was given several projects and assignments.
I learned from working on the interview questions and assignments.
I soon learned that the journey to getting a job is also a journey to get more information in the industry.
I ended up starting my own Software Development Business before getting a stable job as a Devops Engineer. Now I ask, what’s your passion?
What do you love to do?
Do you have a plan? If your answer is no, then you need a plan as soon as possible!
You need to learn to persevere because seasons change fast and time is not our friend. Write down your vision…
Get ready for your mission!

DO NOT BE AFRAID

by admin March 17, 2019
written by admin
Psalm 27:1‭-‬3 NIV

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.

Fear limits you from taking active steps…

Ever felt scared of losing something? Your home, your joy, your job?

What active steps did you take towards feeling better?

The NEGATIVE..

Confused

In pain

Scared..

Lost.

THE POSITIVE…

Remind yourself of who you are…

Remind yourself that; what man can’t solve, God can…

Remind yourself of his promises…

Remember that nothing evil comes from God..

Pray…

Take an active step and read the bible, find comfort in the words…

God has a lot to say to you.

John 16:33(KJV)

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

EVERY PUSH PUTS YOU IN A POSITION

by admin January 25, 2019
written by admin
No matter how hard life pushes you or how little,
you end up in a position… You either walk, crawl, run or grow.
At the end, you will be put in a position. I felt his hand on me, and I saw the path he pointed towards.
So I walked through the path,
but then I saw the shattered glass…
It was everywhere,
I walked on the road which he instructed me;
As I tried to have a grip, I slipped and fell.
Then my forehead touched the ground;
That was a sign that I positioned to pray. I got up and heard his voice say serve me baby girl!
I said, ” what can I bring to you?”
He said to keep fighting for my destiny,
and keep going. Those glasses I saw ahead of me were getting repositioned.
As I walked, I saw the pieces merge. Then I realized I knew what was happening!!!
It was him all along.
He said keep going. I had become thirsty.
I wanted to cry,
but instead, something else happened.
Only words of praise could come out,
and then it appeared I was singing. He said, “serve me baby girl, keep going!”
I saw another piece repositioned;
It was then I realized that God had ordained everything that had happened to me on my way.. If I wasn’t broken,
I wouldn’t have realized his hand on me. If I didn’t listen,
I wouldn’t discover what God placed in me. I always said; “I can’t, I’m shy!”
He said, “yes, you can; for you are my child.”
Your service builds you and prepares you for what’s out there. “Because you listened to me; now you can sing, evangelize, minister to souls and you can pray.”
Then I realized that as a worker,
I had indeed been set aside for special services in the house of God…

Every Day is A Gift

by admin January 25, 2019
written by admin

As we walk this path called life, there are diverse opportunities presented to us but also a lot of challenges.

There are 365 days in a year. We spend more than half of the year trying to overcome challenges of life.

We also spend a reasonable amount of time happy with a lot of good news.

What the enemy does however, is to steal your joy. Those challenges become magnified and we forget all the good things achieved in the past.

As we begin 2019, I encourage us to start with this simple task…

When God delivers you from troubles or when something great happens, write it down.

Each day you wake up healthy and strong, also write it down.

Come back in December and go through the list. You’ll be amazed.

Love Existence or Abuse

by admin January 22, 2019
written by admin

You once professed your love for her.. Holding her like tomorrow would never come…

You claimed he was sent to you,

to hold him dear…

But your words are nothing but mere words…
As you walked the path of lasting togetherness….

You forgot your words…

The comfort and steadiness of your vows,

swept off the desire for a good steadfastness….

You now belong to a land of emotional abuse,

verbal manipulations and careless stamina…

As I watch you take her weakness,

and consciously tear her apart…
It is an endless loop,

where your manipulative words,

pierce her soul and skin..
Ripping her off every dignity,

that sums up her being….

My words for you are,

I hope you never loose that good thing…

I hope you see the gift..
Hold on to her like your tomorrow depends on it….

Your abuse of love is a dead end…

Choose steady Love Existence…
